Do you work in Gennevilliers (Hauts-de-Seine) and are looking for a place in day care close to where you work?
The Barbanniers day care center is the Cap Enfants group pilot facility: it was created in 2006 in the heart of the Barbanniers business park.
It’s location is ideal, and particularly suited to the needs of parent-employees. It is situated less than 5 minutes walk from the Gennevilliers RER C and Tramway station, and just off the A86 and A15 highways.
Its hours are designed so that you can work with fewer worries: we provide child care from 7:45am to 7:30pm, Monday to Friday.
The center has been designed for children’s well-being: an inside surface area of 365 m² can welcome 45 children aged from 10 weeks to 4 years. The location also has a 150 m² exterior courtyard where children can use play equipment under the watchful eye of the educational team.
Especially adapted for different age groups of young children, it allows them to profit from an outdoor space where they can play and flourish, in complete safety.
This day care center has places available!

How the Euclide day care center in Argenteuil is organized
The Barbanniers day care center is organized in three sections: babies, toddlers, and older children.
Each section has around 15 children, a number that is below average for day care centers, and which allows teams to give more care and attention to each child.
A large sunny atrium with freely accessible games promotes interaction between children of different ages. This welcoming space is home to the Musical Bubble®, which allows children to journey around the world…
Endorsed by internationally-recognized pyschosociologist, Jean Epstein, and backed up by a research project led by INSERM (the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research), our teaching methods allow children to increase their vocabulary by 70% before starting school, whatever their background.
Because good soundproofing between spaces is essential, a lot of preparatory work goes into this during the creation of each of our day care centers. Both ceilings and flooring are designed using natural materials like wood and rubber, and offer very good acoustic properties. Centers also feature soundproofing double glazing between sleeping rooms and play areas.
All spaces have been designed to allow children to develop both their motor and cognitive skills, as well as their autonomy. Using the activities offered by the educational team and the freely accessible games, each child can discover, try, test, and grow at their own pace.
As well as communal areas, each of the sections has a bathroom where children will gradually become more independent in using the toilet. Bathrooms are equipped with pull-out steps. As soon as a child is able, they are helped by a memeber of staff to climb onto the changing table. Each child has their own bathroom cubby-hole where they can place their personal effects. The bathroom is equipped with small toilets as well as potties, giving children a choice and allowing them to develop at their own pace.
Because sleep is essential for young children, each child has their own bed and sleeps in the same place to ensure their surroundings are reassuring, thereby helping them to go to sleep. We promote staggered waking which takes into account the rhythms of each child.
The dining area is a dedicated space which enables childen to find their spatio-temporal bearings throughout the day. They eat in small groups using tables and chairs adapted to their size.
Meals are developed by a specialist early childhood dietician. In addition, 50% of the food used is local, organic produce.
The cornerstone of Cap Enfants’ teaching methods, the Musical Bubble® is siutated in the center of the atrium, allowing each child to discover and listen to sound and music, and to see the associated images throughout the day.
We take note of all detary requirements and food allergies. We adapt meals according to the variety of food introduced at home.
Each week, toddlers and older children take part in a “pâtisserie” acttivity, which they taste at afternoon snack time: it’s a great way for them to socialize and to develop their motor skills while having fun!
The Barbanniers day care center educational team
The team, made up of qualified professionals, is trained in Cap Enfants’ teaching methods to support children in their emotional and cognitive development.
These early chilhood educators, childcare assistants, and childcare helpers complement each other in working with children. This team is led by the center’s manager who is a qualified childcare assistant.
The Barbanniers day care center celebrated its 10 year anniversary in November 2016 with great emotion. 360 families attended to meet all the team. Children were delighted to see members of staff again that took care of them when they were younger!
